You may have noticed a new face (and bottom!) on our website helping showcase some of the clothing ranges. Sheffield golfer (and model!), Holly Morgan from Lees Hall who plays off 3 has won the qualifying round of the Sheffield and District Championships. She is due to play the knockout rounds later this month. At only 16 years old we think this is an especially great achievement. Good luck Holly.

The temperature is rising and we can at last get out our capris, skirts and shorts (don\'t forget the false tan if you haven\'t been lucky enough to find some winter sun!). A huge thank you to Michelle and Sandra at Congleton Golf Club and Liz for their monumentous effort in making us feel welcome and helping us in so many thoughtful ways at the very successful fashion show. All Anne and Jane had to contend with were the van glitches but you helped us take those in our stride and we had a thoroughly lovely evening.

We are very excited as the new season approaches to be launching all the new ranges. Jane and Anne have just returned from a ski trip where their winter golf gear came in very handy. In temperatures of upto -18 the Under Armour base layers really kept out the cold without being bulky. Apres ski was helped with winter lined trousers from Daily Sports and the lovely pom pom hat keeping out the cold. So don't let the snow here put you off going outside just put on that lovely golf wear!!

Don't you just love this picture of Anne's daughter in law Lizi on her wedding day with one of our gorgeous silver golf umbrellas. It was a short sharp shower but no problem for Lizi who had it covered.

What a great night we had at Copt Heath Golf Club. The 8 models led by County Captain Bobbi did a fantastic job on the catwalk modelling outfits from Love Golf Clothes and a local fashion boutique. Thank you ladies and well done for raising so much money for the County players to assist with coaching and general overheads. Anne and Jane have been pouring over the best of the rainwear for this season. Whilst we longingly look out the watery streaked window at the golf course, we are cheered up by some of the best selections of waterproof trousers yet. The new 9 hole evening league was trialled this year organised by Val Swales from Hallamshire. Clubs taking part were Hallamshire, Lees Hall, Abbeydale, Hallowes and Dore& Totley. I think all the ladies who played will agree that it was a great success and gave some ladies their first taste of match play. The prize giving evening will be at Hallamshire on 1st October.

We know we have not had a good summer and we don't want to think about winter golf but be prepared with some of the fantastic Fabrics from Daily Sports, Rohnisch and Abacus and you won't feel the cold so much. Fot those of you who can't remember what playing golf in the sunshine feels like here is a reminder. This is Anne's annual trip to Hotel Islantilla in Spain in June when the weather was fantastic. Anne is second from the left - wearing Catmandoo polo shirt (Paige) and Daily Sports pink skort with her lovely silver Ecco shoes. Some of you may recognise the other ladies .... Pam from Wickham, Sue from Breadsall Priory and Kath from Beauchief.

Sadly the 2012 Challenge for Anne & June has ended by losing at Oakes Park. We still have Anne's sister Julie in the competition playing for Hfawkstone Park with her partner Louisa - good luck girls.

Well done to Anne for her first Hole In One. Playing in a friendly match at Hallamshire Golf Club. Thank you to Val Swales, Juliette Foster and Michelle Plumtree for their encouragement. Needless to say both teams enjoed the 'celebrations' in the bar.

What a great night at Abbeydale. Janet Gregory and her team of helpers led by Jill MacDonald gave their members and visitors a night to remember - all in aid of Janet's charity Canine Partners. 100 ladies were lucky enough to be the first to view LOVE GOLF CLOTHES 2012 selection. We had 4 fantastic models, Kathryn, Mavis, Jayne and Jill who stepped in as reserve at the last minute - you were all brilliant well done. We now have the photo to prove it !!
